TRI-AD Partners with GoodCell for FSA- and HSA-eligible Genomic Testing and Biobanking

TRI-AD has partnered with GoodCell, a revolutionary health technology platform powered by science that helps people proactively identify, track, and respond to health concerns through personal biobanking, health screening, and genetic testing. GoodCell is FSA- and HSA-eligible and includes a dedicated Member Relationship Manager who will guide subscribers every step of the way through email, chat, or SMS.

GoodCell works like this: Participants sign up for membership, and a testing kit is sent to them. They are then assigned their Relationship Manager at GoodCell. When the kit arrives, GoodCell members take it to their nearest Quest Laboratories facility, where the samples are collected and returned to GoodCell. GoodCell then analyzes the samples and provides a report to the member that is accessed through a secure dashboard. Member confidentiality is maintained through the process, and GoodCell is committed to keeping any identifiable data and biomaterials private and secure. Their lab partners also share this commitment. Members have control over whether GoodCell can share de-identified data (where all personal identifiers are stripped to remove traceability) to help researchers, doctors, and scientists study diseases and develop potential new treatments.

We are excited about this opportunity to help people better manage their health by identifying potential health risks and ongoing monitoring of their health metrics. Our partnership with GoodCell is just another way we strive to fulfill our purpose: to enrich your health and financial well-being. Even if a company does not partner with us for reimbursement plan services, their employees can still purchase a GoodCell membership out-of-pocket or via their non-TRI-AD FSA or HSA.

Information about and access to GoodCell membership has been added to our BenefitSpot platform. Information about the product will also be added to our Reimbursement Plans dashboards later this year.

TRI-AD looks forward to helping our clients’ employees improve their health through access to the comprehensive and medically-actionable genomic testing and biobanking services offered by GoodCell.
