As we all look forward to a post-COVID-19 environment, vaccinations will play a critical part in facilitating a safe “return to the office” strategy. Many of our clients are seeking advice and potential solutions to not only reimburse their workforce for the time and effort to get vaccinated, but also to financially incentivize their employees to do so. TRI-AD is well-positioned to support any number of creative solutions to help support this effort, including:
- Reimbursement of rideshare (Uber/Lyft) expenses to/from a vaccine appointment
- Reimbursement of any ‘out-of-pocket’ expenses incurred to receive the vaccine
- A vaccination bonus (employers can determine any amount) upon presenting proof of inoculation to TRI-AD. Since some employees may be unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccination due to medical or religious reasons, they could also receive the bonus by completing and submitting proof of attending an approved educational course.
The method of reimbursement can also vary by employer preference. The reimbursement may be direct (check or direct deposit), applied to an existing FSA or HSA account, or added to a new debit card.
Please contact your TRI-AD Client Service Manager if you are interested in discussing additional details, pricing, or next steps toward implementation.
